Lowball works without an account. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, home address or payment details.

Your watchlist and the target prices you set are saved on your device. If you delete the app, they are gone.

When you open the app, it creates a random ID for your device. That ID is not tied to your name or to any other app. We use it to count things like searches, product views, taps on a store's Shop button, and views and taps on sponsored listings. We use these counts to improve the app and to show sponsors how many people see their listings. Sponsors only see totals, never anything about one person.

If you set a price alert and allow notifications, we store your target prices with that random ID and a push notification token from Apple or Google. The token lets us send you the alert. Turning off notifications or removing the alert stops it.

The phone apps show ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address and app usage to show and measure ads. On iPhone, Apple asks whether you allow tracking. If you say no, you still see ads, but they aren't based on your activity in other apps. Where the law requires consent, such as the European Union and the United Kingdom, Google's consent form appears first. Some Shop links are affiliate links. The store may learn that you came from Lowball, and it may pay us a commission if you buy. What you do on the store's site falls under that store's privacy policy.

We don't sell your personal information. We use service providers to run the app: Supabase stores the counts and alerts, Expo delivers notifications, and Google serves ads. They handle data only to provide those services.

Lowball is meant for adults shopping for golf equipment. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

You can turn off notifications and tracking in your phone's settings at any time. To have the counts and alerts tied to your device's random ID deleted, delete the app, or contact us at [email protected] and we'll remove them.

If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a new effective date.
